We Built This Because Numbers Shouldn't Be Intimidating
Back in 2019, I kept meeting people who avoided financial analysis like it was some secret language. Smart business owners, creative professionals, people running real ventures—all convinced that reading a balance sheet required an accounting degree. That didn't sit right with me.

How We Started
The first workshop we ran had twelve people crammed into a cafe in Chiang Rai. Half of them brought calculators—the chunky kind that print receipts. We spent three hours breaking down cash flow statements using actual small business examples from the neighborhood.
What surprised me wasn't that they learned quickly. It was how relieved everyone seemed when they realized financial analysis is basically structured common sense. You're just organizing information you already understand into formats that help you make decisions.
That workshop turned into monthly sessions. Then someone asked if we could create materials for remote learners. By mid-2020, we had shifted everything online—which turned out to be perfect timing, honestly.
What Guides Our Work
These aren't corporate values printed on a wall. They're the practical principles that shape how we build every course and respond to every question.
Real Examples Only
Every case study comes from actual businesses. We change names and details for privacy, but the financial situations are genuine. You learn by working with scenarios that could walk through your door tomorrow.
Honest About Complexity
Some financial topics are straightforward. Others require careful attention and practice. We tell you which is which upfront, so you can plan your learning time realistically and know when to slow down.
Support That Actually Helps
When you send a question, you get a response from someone who teaches this material—not a support ticket system. If your question reveals a gap in our explanations, we update the course content.
Practical First
Theory matters, but application matters more. You spend most of your time working through exercises and building spreadsheets you can actually use in your work. The conceptual framework supports the practical skills, not the other way around.
Who Develops This Content
Our courses are designed by people who've spent years explaining financial concepts in workshops, consulting sessions, and one-on-one coaching. We know where learners typically get stuck because we've helped hundreds work through those exact moments.

Petra Chen
I spent eight years as a financial analyst before I realized I enjoyed teaching the work more than doing it myself. Now I design courses that focus on the practical skills I wish someone had taught me when I was starting out.
Most of my time goes into refining explanations based on learner feedback. When someone says they had to re-read a section three times, I rewrite it. The goal is to make complex ideas accessible without oversimplifying them into uselessness.

How Our Programs Work
We build courses around the way people actually learn financial skills—through repeated practice with increasing complexity. You start with foundational concepts using simple examples, then gradually work with more nuanced scenarios.
Each module includes exercises that mirror real analysis tasks. You'll build spreadsheets, interpret reports, and make recommendations based on financial data. By the end, you have both understanding and a portfolio of work samples.
Our autumn 2025 cohort begins September 15th, with enrollment opening in late July. Programs typically run 12-16 weeks with a recommended time investment of 6-8 hours weekly.
- Self-paced modules with weekly check-in sessions for questions and discussion
- Practical exercises using anonymized data from real businesses across various industries
- Direct access to instructors via email and scheduled office hours
- Course materials remain accessible after completion for future reference
